About Portland Tennis Courterly
Portland Tennis Courterly is a print-focused publication at the intersection of tennis, art and civic identity. Our mission is to celebrate and support Portland’s tennis community—and help the city live up to its nickname, “Tennis City, USA.”
We highlight the culture of the game as it’s played across Portland’s parks and public courts, and we aim to showcase the diverse cross-section of people who make this city an urban tennis paradise.
Beyond print, the Courterly lives through events, tournaments, screenings, readings, and collaborative projects that bring players, artists, and neighbors together. Our mission is to grow and galvanize Portland’s tennis community through creativity and accessibility, fostering a shared consciousness around the city’s public resources.
