The Mt. Tabor Open was a celebration of Portland's world-class outdoor park tennis scene. Roughly 175 players competed across four brackets, with matches unfolding across two court sites atop the city’s most iconic volcanic butte. While the event ended in chaos and controversy following a now-infamous cheating scandal, the tournament as a whole felt like a huge success—thanks to everyone who played, volunteered, spectated, or found some way to engage with the highest-elevation all-comers tournament in the world.
