H2Open: October 24 & 25 at Irving Park in Portland, Oregon

Maybe it’ll rain, maybe it won’t

Format: 

• Separate Women’s and Men's (Co-ed) brackets
• Singles & Doubles brackets. (Doubles teams must signup as a pair.)

  • Men's Open (By invite only)
  • Men's A Singles & Doubles 4.0-4.5 
  • Men's B Singles & Doubles 3.0-3.99 
  • Men's C Doubles 2.5-2.99
  • Women's Open (By invite only)
  • Women's A Singles & Doubles 4.0-4.5 
  • Women's B Singles & Doubles 3.0-3.99 
  • Women's C Doubles 2.5-2.99 

Registration Fee:
$40 per participant — includes a high-quality cotton H2Open tournament T-shirt.

Match Format:
Best-of-three Fast4 sets, with full sets in the finals. First-round losers will enter a consolation bracket with a chance to place as high as third and win prizes.

Prizes:
Top teams will take home a mix of cash, gear, and custom trophies.

Rain Disclaimer
Our plan is to run the H2Open on Friday and Saturday (Oct 24–25), with finals under the lights on Saturday night. That said, the specter of rain in late October is very real. While the Old Farmer’s Almanac gives us a little optimism, we’ll need all participants to come in with flexibility and open-mindedness.

If weather intervenes, we may need to get creative. That could mean:

• Playing first-round matches earlier in the week at off-site courts.

• Pushing the tournament back a day to conclude on Sunday.

• Using abbreviated formats to squeeze matches between showers.

• Passing rain delays with alternative games (ping pong, darts, chess, etc.).

The name of the H2Open game is flexibility. This is meant to be a fun, community-driven tennis tournament—and we’ll do our best to make sure everyone gets to play and enjoy the spirit of the event, rain or shine.
